The Character of Two Golds: Gold filled and Gold plated Jewelry

Verank jewelry retails two types of solid gold alternatives of similar nature,  namely gold-filled and gold plated jewelry, although their major difference lies in the sum of gold content. Our gold-filled jewelry is made up of a higher solid gold content, while Gold-plated jewelry is made up of a thinner layer of solid gold. Using electricity and pressure, we use 18-14 karat gold over stainless steel or brass metal. Stainless steel & Brass are our choice metal because they are relatively stable and non-reactive metals making them hypoallergenic i.e skin-friendly to most.

Our pieces are tarnish resistant, this simply means they are not easily supecitible to fading, rust and corrosion. Although by natural order, the gold composition on your piece could begin to wear overtime, hence the onus is on you to care for them to get even more long lasting wear out of them. So whether you opt for our Gold-filled or Gold plated jewelry we are confident in the rich gold luster and durable nature of our pieces .

HOW TO CARE:

i. Accessorize last
Apply your makeup, lotion, perfume and all other beauty products before wearing your jewelry.

ii. Gentle Wipe
Occasionally, wipe your jewelry gently. Avoid cleaning with tissue
paper or towels. Your verank polishing cloth or soft fabric will do just
fine.

iii. Preserve Life Span
To get even more lasting wear out of your jewelry, it is highly recommended you take off your jewelry before swimming, going to the spa or exercising.

iv. Properly Store:
Store away your jewelry in your Verank pouch, to protect it from dust and humidity. Alternatively, you can also store in a soft-lined and dark air tight box.

Delivery in Lagos: within 1-2 working days

Delivery outside Lagos: 3-5 working days

Rerouting of parcel: We aim to process orders promptly, you can immediately reach out to change your delivery address, if your order has not been dispatched ,we will effect the change at no cost.

However, if the order has been dispatched, change of address will incur an additional delivery charge.

Redelivery of parcel: If you are unreachable at the time of delivery, redelivery can be attempted at an extra cost. Do endeavour to keep your phones close during the expected delivery duration or provide an alternative contact. However, kindly note that Verank Jewelry will not bear responsibility for parcels received by third parties.

 

International shipping: 

Depending on your country’s laws and regulations, international orders may attract tariffs, taxes, duties and other custom-related fees. These charges are not covered in your shipping fees at checkout, hence you may be required to pay these fees on delivery.

 

RETURN POLICY

Items are eligible for Returns and Exchanges if they meet ALL the following return qualifications:

i)Customer notifies us of their intention to return or exchange within 48 hours of receiving their parcel

ii)The item was shipped within Nigeria. We are unable to accept returns on International orders and we are only able to consider exchanges within Lagos, Nigeria at this time.

iii)Items must be in an unworn state and returned with all original packaging (pouch, paper bag, courier bags included)

1. iv) Set items must be returned complete e.g., complete set of bracelets and necklaces, a missing set of an item nullifies return.
2. v) Item was not purchased on sale.

Damaged Product: We scrutinize all our pieces for defects and damages prior to shipment. Upon arrival, it is the responsibility of the customer to check the product ensuring it is free of defects. It is also the responsibility of the buyer to contact us within 48 hours of receipt to correct a defect issue. Product damaged due to buyer’s negligence will not be accepted for exchange. The customer is entitled to exchange subject to stock availability or store credit.

Specification Issue: Exchange or store credit can be processed in the case of a customer’s dissatisfaction with product specifications i.e (sizing, length, etc,). However, the customer bears the shipping cost.Kindly always refer to the size guide and product specification before placing an order.

Exemptions: Returns and exchanges are not permitted on earrings, items bought on sale and gift cards. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Shipping Error: All orders go through a series of checks before dispatch, in the rare case that your order is wrongly delivered. It will be eligible for return, on the condition that the item meets all the above listed return qualifications. Kindly contact us immediately.

Gift cards: No refund on gift cards, as it cannot be transferred to cash, amount on gift cards can remain as store credit within the allotted duration.
